The original burger chain in Britain! They're cool, because you actually get plates and cutlery. And there's a better range of food.

As the nineties dawned, Burger King started establishing themselves in Britain, and they bought up a large number of Wimpy locations in city centres for their own 'restaurants'. As a result of this, Wimpys are generally found in outlying districts.

Another bonus, if you can call it that, is that you're allowed to smoke inside the restaurants, thus giving the food an extra bbq-like tang to it. Added to this, you can still buy the bender in a bun, which has given generations of immature schoolboys a laugh.
