Drinks
Young's Bitter, London Pride and Adnams Bitter would seem to the normal choice of beer. They were all in pretty good nick. At about 2.20 a pint. As you may guess from the selection the Prince of Wales is a proper freehouse.
The wine selection is also supposedly quite good.
Food
A wide and varied menu with daily specials. The cottage pie was very good as was the pan-fried salmon. Reasonable prices.
It is worth noting that All You Can Eat Ribs and Wings night is on Wednesdays 6pm - 9pm 5 per head. Turn up early to avoid disappointment.
Monday-Saturday food served till 9pm. 7pm on Sundays.
Service and Ambience
Staff were friendly and it felt like a proper pub. The availability of a non smoking room was good also.
