Layout
This pub has a square building footprint, and is one of the few pubs retaining a public bar at the front (though Fuller's wanted to get rid of this in the late 1990s refurb, but received opposition from locals including allotment keepers). It's not separate any more, but connected with the main bar through an arch doorway.
The extension at the back is a glorified conservatory, which is the dining area. This opens out through French windows to to a garden in the summer.
Everything is on the level - there may be parts a single step up, but a ramp is present for wheelchair access.
