Coffee@ is a lovely place on Brick Lane. don't be put off by the apogee-of-shoreditch-funky clientele. The coffee isn't cheap, but it's good and certainly a much better deal than *$.

The nicest thing about coffee@ is the music, a variable and random selection, genre fusion, usually blasting out loudly. The worst thing, it can get very smoky, and on Sundays it's rammed full of visitors to Brick Lane Market and [Columbia Road Market]?.

A recent innovation is free wireless - they also have a few iMacs available for about 1.50 / hour, again not cheap but not bad for round the 'City, very good signal strength and connectivity. I hope it stays this way....
