- Local Government authority: Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
Notting Hill is a bohemian and fashionable locale of west London, home to many artists and musicians, and with a large number of bars, restaurants, clubs, coffeeshops and other places to hang out. The closely-set, leafy avenues give it somewhat of a village-like feel, and many of the people who [can afford to] inhabit it wouldn't live anywhere else. The eponymous film is set mainly around the area's famous Portobello Market.
