Based south of the river, Young's is one of two independent London breweries, the other is Fuller's.

The brewery occupies a triangle of land behind Wandsworth High Street.

Beers

Draught beers:

  • (Ordinary) Bitter 3.8%
  • Special Bitter 4.5%
  • Winter Warmer 5.0% (available September - February)
  • Waggledance 5.0% (available March - August)

There is also a large range of bottled beers. Of note are:

  • Double Chocolate Stout
  • London Bitter
  • Ram Rod

Breweery Tours

Young's have tours quite regularly, and can arrange tours for a suitable party.

Entering the brewery, there is a feel of being in a time warp, as there is a beam engine driving the mash tuns and brewing equipment, and stables with shire horses.

Apparently the horses were used for local dray deliveries in South London, but sadly this practice had to be abandoned because of road rage.
