exceptional pub near Paddington Station with a lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. There's a very nice little bookable room upstairs — tiny, only enough space for maybe ten people to fit comfortably, but real, readable, odd books on the bookshelves. It really is like being in someone's tiny upstairs library.
The food is above average and portions are generous. They managed to feed our resident vegan something she didn't seem too unhappy with.
