The building is a normal office block mostly occupied by Swiss Re and not open to the public. However there is a pub at its base - The Sterling - and a restaurant at the top which you may be able to make a booking at if you can find someone who works there.

Known both by those who admire it, and those who hate it as "The Gherkin", this is one of the newest buildings to adorn the City of London skyline.

Another of Norman Foster's works, construction began in spring 2002, and won the Stirling prize in 2004.
