Just a little cafe, but reasonably-priced, handy for Shepherd's Bush Market, and a bit less grubby than the other cafes in the immediate area. Seating out the front for about twenty people, plus an internet area in the back that I haven't been in. There's an awkward pillar right in the middle of the front bit for some reason. Table service if you like, or order at the counter, but pay at the till in either case.

Coffee's not bad. Various freshly-made sandwiches, filled croissants, sweet and savoury pastries including meat or cheese borek, mmm. Cakes too - there were four on display the day I was there including a chocolate one. It's also licensed, and offers a couple of bottled lagers and one or two wines.

Service is friendly if very slightly confused. I ordered a cheese and ham toastie, but got a cheese and tomato one instead. It was tasty though, so I didn't complain. Also I saw another customer, who'd ordered a beer, have to go up to the counter to get his beer opened after it was delivered to him with the cap still on.

The staff are very decorative.

Cheese and tomato toastie £1.25, white coffee (a generously-sized cup) £1.55. [Prices as of October 2003]
