Shepherd's Bush Green
- Shepherd's Bush Green (map of this place)
A triangular space of grass and trees between Uxbridge Road and [Goldhawk Road]? in Shepherd's Bush, where they are intersected by [Shepherd's Bush Road]?/[Wood Lane]? running north/south. This is shaped like a capital 'A' rotated clockwise by 90°. The three tube stations are at the apex of the A (Central Line), and the feet (Shepherd's Bush H&C) and Goldhawk Road.
There is a circus there once a year (or so), a children's playground, some tennis courts.
A bicycle path runs through the Green with special sets of traffic lights at the intersections, though can be confusing. Expect both kinds of pedestrians to be on the cycle path: rabbit-in-headlights and lemming varieties both well represented.
Streetmap seems to think that the grass is actually called [Shepherd's Bush Common]? - Shepherd's Bush Green is the road running around the south eastern and western sides of it.
