Welcome to the Guide, Robert! -- Earle Well thank you! Also wrote http://www.bermondseyhistory.com/ I've contributed to several wikis, and prefer to do so anonymously unless I believe it is useful for me to be identified as the author. Or until I get thrown off the wiki for doing exactly that. I'd find it useful if you put your username in when editing stuff. If I see that an edit's been made by someone familiar with the local conventions, then I don't need to worry so much about checking whether the edit's graffiti or misplaced or something. A note in the Comment box is also very useful. You certainly won't get “thrown off” for remaining anonymous though! --Kake I respect your right to anonymity - by all means. However, as Kake mentions, it would be most useful if you could use the Comment box when you change a page, as it makes the recent changes page much more useful. Thanks! -- Earle ---- Bookmarks (for me, I mean): http://openguides.org/london/index.cgi?Wiki_Discussion%2FNaming_Conventions%2C_Continued |
