A peculiarity of London, red routes are marked with a double red line, in the style of a double yellow line, indicating that it is illegal to stop your vehicle there other than at traffic lights or in a queue of stationary traffic.
Examples of red routes include the [A1]? from [St Pauls]? through Islington and Archway.
