An independent cinema just north of Leicester Sqaure that shows older, smaller and foreign films rather than the mainstream. Tickets are cheap and even cheaper if you buy membership. Also the home of regular showings of Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music and the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

They have a single screen which is downstairs. Tickets and food are bought upstairs and there is a bar downstairs along with a small waiting/seating (on stools) area and toilets. The seats are rather plush and tilt back a bit when you sit on them, but in general they are quite comfy. There are also some 2 person mini-sofa like seats at the back...

Ticket are �3 for weekday daytime showings and �4 for evenings and weekends. You can buy membership of the cinema for �7.50 a year which drops those to �1.50 and �3. The membership card also acts as a discount card for a variety of other shops (including Forbidden Planet), gets you added to their email newsletter and 10% off at the bar.

The website had full listings and you can also pick up listings sheets for the current and next week from outside the cinema.
