The service has got poorer over time, and is now fairly dire, with unattentive bar staff talking to their mates.
The pub has a locals feel although the inhabitants are fairly welcoming. However, the various changes that have happened have thinned the clientele out a lot.

* Small public bar (on the left of the pub), with short bar, TV projector and Dart board. Packed on football days, but excellent for watching the match in (great atmosphere, and setup so that everyone can see the game easily)
* Larger lounge bar (on the right of the pub), with booths down the right hand side and bar on the left. More seating in the conservatory at the back of the bar, and also some at the front near the front door and door to the public bar.

Beer garden with picnic style tables - quite big and great during summer. Also useable in winter if you wrap up.

==== Facilities ====

Ladies and Gents in the lounge bar.

==== Randomness ====

Fuller's have had issues with this pub over the years, with a number of changes of management which have been met with varying degrees of success. At the moment (200405) it looks like they are about to start their next phase of rebuilding the clientele, with a new menu and maybe new management. I hope this goes better than the last few tries. -[[Billy]]

200410 - it seems that the most recent update didn't do much. They've tried a variety of events over the last few months, ranging from a "Meet Eric Bristow" evening to a School Disco night (no entry if you're not in school uniform), but it doesn't seem to have done much -[[Billy]]
