The Open Guide to London: the free London guide - Differences between Version 4 and Version 3 of Pedicabs

Contents are identical

aka rickshaws, cycle taxis, trishaws

For the last four or so years pedicabs have been operating in central London; you see them most often around the West End. Quite often there'll be a few waiting around for customers at the entrance to Leicester Square opposite the Tube station. I asked one of their drivers, on a whim, what it would cost to take me to where I live (Notting Hill Gate) from there and he told me it would be £20 a person. Quite steep. Still, pootling along in a pedicab might be fun if you're feeling flush.

I don't know how many companies are operating them, but the first one to do so was BugBugs.
