Streatham is South of the river in Zone 3. It is served by 3 mainline stations with regular services to Victoria, London Bridge and King's Cross. The stations are Streatham, Streatham Common, [Streatham Hill]?. There is talk of the East London Line being extended to Streatham Station and long range plans of extending the croydon tramlink up to the High Road as well.
The main part of Streatham is Streatham High Road. This is where most of the shops and pubs are located. It has been voted Britains worst high street.( I feel this was relativley unfair - bob). There are most high street shops such as WHSmith's, Boots and Woolworths. There is a 8 screen odeon Cinema.
