Little Venice is the name given to the area surrounding the canal basins of Paddington. Particularly the broad junction between the Grand Union Canal and the arm that leaves it for Paddington Basin.

There's a variety of delightful little restaurants here.

Canal boat trips between here and Camden Lock also stop at London Zoo. On this trip be sure to watch out for Maida Vale Tunnel where the entrance is literally blanketed with old spider webs (or, if you're arachnophobic, grab a drink and look away).
