Lamb Tavern

Drinks

Young's Ordinary, Special, Winter warmer in season. Strongbow.

Food

Food served at lunchtimes only: the only choice is pork or beef, carved off a freshly-roasted joint of meat and served in a half-baguette. Often a long wait but worth it.

Service and Ambience

The pub always looks more crowded than it is. People spill out the front into the market, which is under cover. Very popular with suited brokers from the nearby Lloyd's Building but usually unpretentious.

Layout

A pub with character and surprisingly large. There's a wine-bar in the basement, a packed standing-only bar at ground level with a small seated mezzanine above, a non-smoking room above that, and a dining area at the very top.
