Historical version 1 of Islington Green (view current version)
Little grassy area in the middle of upper street. People eat their lunch here on the few delapidated benches along the large central tarmacked bit that seperates the two grassy halves.
Occasionally things like live music is played here.
Hosting the Islington war memorial, this is the annual site of rememberance on Rememberance Sunday.
