Historical version 1 of Haymarket (view current version)

This fairly short street runs from Leicester Square/Piccadilly Circus southwards to [Pall Mall]?'s junction with Trafalgar Square. It's four to five lanes of one-way traffic wide, making crossing a nightmare for pedestrians, and the only really notable feature is the Theatre Royal at the southern end.

Apparently there really used to be a hay market in this street, started during the reign of Elizabeth I.
