Historical version 3 of Gunnersbury Park (view current version)
Large municipal park between Ealing, Acton and Brentford. Has a boating lake, tennis courts (?) and a pitch-and-putt golf range. Also a huge amount of open space, bordered by trees. Museum in north east corner (latter best approached from Acton Town Station).
Immortalised in the song 'Gunnersbury Park' by the 'Hit Parade' on Sarah Records, cult indie label of the late eighties/early nineties....
