I had the sausage and mash (�4.75): the mash seemed to be from a packet mix, the sausages were a bit gristly and not that well cooked, and the onion gravy was over-salted and under-flavoured &#8212; but it wasn't <em>awful</em>, just not great, and it did the job. <small>[Prices as of October 2002]</small></p>\n<h4>Service and Ambience</h4>\n\n<p>Nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about.</p>\n<h4>Layout</h4>\n\n<p>A large room downstairs, with large windows and a couple of big leather sofas in the (reasonably effective) non-smoking area.  There's another room upstairs (which is where the toilets are too), but I didn't examine it closely.
