A residential road in Leytonstone running NW, where it meets [Hainault Road]? to SE, where it meets [Grove Green Road]? and where Leytonstone Station is.

Fairlop Road has a mish-mash of different styles of housing on both sides, and is overall fairly shabby in appearance. Whilst some of the inhabitants, notably at the north end, seem to take some pride in the appearance of their homes, a number seemingly do not care at all, with collapsed walls, overgrown plants, trash and abandoned shopping trolleys to boot.
In the 1960s, one of the houses on Fairlop Road was haunted (scroll down to "Pusher").
There is apparently a "Fairlop Road Action Group" (what a great acronym), but I don't have any contact details for them.
