Start from Farringdon Station. Turn left out of the station into Cowcross Street, and left again up Turnmill Street. You'll walk slightly uphill with the railway tracks on your left (behind a wall). When you get to the first bridge across the tracks (Clerkenwell Road), turn rightand cross the road at your convenience. Pass a garage on the left. You'll arrive at a square set back from the road, on the left; enter this, and near the back left corner look for an alley leading directly away from the road. In this alley, Jerusalem Passage, is the Dovetail.

Nice little Belgian beer bar tucked away down a pedestrian passage. Not incredibly easy to find but well worth it — and its secluded location means it doesn't get too busy. Kriek and Framboise (at least) on tap. Expensive though.
