A Turkish/Ottoman/Eastern style cocktail bar with dancing sometimes. Words that come to mind include:

They do some food and cocktails. Cocktails between �4 and �7 I suppose. Watch out for the very spicy potatoes. There is a smart Indian restaurant (India EC1) upstairs. Some staff are reported to be unfriendly, others to be friendly. The owner and manager is Ahmad - you can spot him by his fisherman trousers (like pyjamas), he is friendly. Ahmed likes playing world music which is of varying quality but there is usually some dancing toward the end of the evening. Tables and seating is all at low level on cushions and stuff.
