Comic Showcase was a neat comic store at 63 Charing Cross Road. Unfortunately, it appears to have closed for good as of the end of May 2006 (as part of the forthcoming demolition of that block, which also caused its neighbour [Murder One]? to move to new premises across the road).
\nLuckily, there is still Mega City Comics, which is less than 10 minutes away on the tube, and carries much of the same stock, along with a fair bit more. See also Category Comic Shops.
