Decent Chinese takeaway; it's also a restaurant but I sort of got the feeling that it's only a restaurant too because it might as well be.
The (paper
) tablecloth had grease spots before we sat down. Our waitperson was very friendly and did try very hard but didn't really seem to know what she was doing. The toilets are downstairs and really not very good. It's right on a main road so when the door is left open in hot weather there's a lot of traffic noise. Having said all that, I'd come back here again.
Decent Chinese takeaway; recommended dishes are the mussels with green pepper and black bean sauce or ginger and spring onions (both £4.20) — works as a starter for two or a main course for one — and the self-assembly lettuce-wrapped minced 'stuff' (seafood £4.90, chicken £4.20, vegetables £3.50). [Prices as of December 2002]

When we came here in May 2004, the sea-spiced aubergine had some completely unnecessary pork in it - I'm sure it used to be vegetarian.

For eat-in there's an "all you can eat" menu for £12.90 - there are some nice dishes on it and it looks very good value. [Price as of May2004]

The seafood hors d'oeuvres are disappointing though; deep-fried breadcrumbed things that look like they came out of a freezer cabinet.

Free home delivery for orders of £10 or over. They can also deliver chilled wine and beer.
