Buffalo Trace Event - Indpendence Day

Buffalo Trace Bourbon, he 9 to 11 year old Kentucky Straight Whiskey from the acclaimed Buffalo Trace Distillery, ('Best Distillery 2005' by Whiskey Magazine and Malt Advocate) is set to celebrate this July 4th in a real American style that will see Todd Richards, Head Chef at the Seelbach Hilton, (Kentucky's premier, luxury hotel since its grand opening in 1905 and a historic landmark to the city) and Gerry Rae, Head Chef at the Homage Waldorf Hilton, reproducing some of Kentucky's traditional and finest recipes exclusively at Homage Grand Salon in the Waldorf Hilton, (London).


True to the roots of bourbon, the aim is to bring some of Kentucky's greatest food to London and to that end the Chefs will create a bourbon-infused menu that will include Braised Buffalo Short Ribs, Banana Split pancakes with bourbon maple syrup, and the renowned Seelbach Pie, a traditional pudding seeped in the history of the famous Kentucky Derby since it was created nearly half a century ago.


This culinary feast developed especially for this occasion will be officially introduced on July 4th at the Homage restaurant in the Waldorf Hilton and will be available for one month only.
