London's first purpose-built shopping mall, next to the base of the [M1]?. Not as car-dependent as later developments; there's a small bus station built on the front of the main structure, and [Brent Cross Station]? is nearby (about 15 minutes' walk).

It's showing its age rather now, but is still moderately useful if one's in North London. Major shops are John Lewis and Fenwick, with larger-than-usual branches of Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Boots and WH Smith. The rest of the space is filled with the usual grotty clothes shops.

A newer development on the other side of the North Circular - reachable by bridge - contains Toys R Us, a Tesco, and other larger shops.
