A chinese restaurant in China Town on Lisle Street between Gerrard Street and Leicester Square.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend from Hong Kong after a not so good meal in the restaurant that I normally visit around here. The clientele seems to be a good mix of chinese people and londoners who know the place with a smaller number of walk-in touristy types.

The food is good and portion size is quite large. Pricewise it is just above average, but quality it is definately so. Prices (as of 2004) are around 4-8 per dish (the higher end being fish and seafood from quite an interesting selection) and the dishes range from the normal sweet and sour (although with a very nice sauce, much nicer than the bright orange goo you often get) to tofu and fish dishes that aren't so common. They do a range of set meals, including one for 8.80 per person that is very good value (and is almost exactly the same as what I ordered when I went in their before I saw the set menu --Billy).

The restaurant has two floors and the bathrooms are upstairs, reached by a fairly narrow and twisty staircase.

It's also just over the road from the Prince Charles Cinema.
