The Wong Kei is without a doubt the best chinese food house in London.
Its purpose in life is to feed you excellent food cheaply and quickly. This is not a place for a relaxed meal with you family... This is a place to go get food when you absolutely need good food when you don't want to be disappointed.
Red's standard order is: Barbeque Pork Noodle Soup, Hot Roast Duck with Plum Sauce. Chinese Greens in Oyster Sauce.
Go try it, you know you want to :-)
I regularly drive 70 miles just to eat here instead of a place that is local to me.
Rumour has it that in a survey by Time Out, this restaurant has been voted the one in London with the rudest waiters. It's not good karma to be picky about the menu, but it can be quite entertaining watching the staff dealing with other customers. ;-)
Also first timers please note: they only take cash. This could save some embarrassment.
