Victoria Park

  • E3 5PH

Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets is a fine example of Victorian philanthropy. A park provided for the enjoyment of the people of east London.

It's bordered to the South East by the three locks of the Hertford Union Canal, to the South West by the Regent's Canal, to the North East the charming A12 and by Victoria Park Road to the North West.

The park features many recreational facilities including ponds, a bowling green, tennis courts, a sports ground and its own athletics club.

For a long and green walk, you might enjoy walking from this park's northern corner to its southernmost point and then along the Regent's Canal into Mile End Park. Or from its eastern corner it's a short walk to The Greenway, which takes the determined walker or cyclist on a car free trek through Stratford and [Plaistow]? to Beckton.
