Zone 1 Station / Streetmap Link / Journey Planner

Lines Served

Northern Line: north <--- Goodge Street <--- Tottenham Court Road ---> Leicester Square ---> south
Central Line: west <--- Oxford Circus <--- Tottenham Court Road ---> Holborn ---> east

Exits

There is an exit at each corner of the crossroads under which this station exists. The south-eastern one, under Centre Point, is fairly nasty.

Where To Alight

The exit from both Central line platforms is fairly near the middle, if anything slightly towards the east of the middle.

The most direct interchange passageway from the Central line platforms to the Northern line is located at the east (front) end of the eastbound Central line platform: If you're arriving on a westbound train (at the back) you'll need to cross to that platform.

The most direct interchange route from both Northern line platforms to the Central line is fairly near the middle of the Northern line platforms: be warned that there is just one escalator (and no stairs) so it often gets crowded and slow.

As for where the exit from the Northern Line platform is...Fix please

Architecture and Points of Interest

The Central platforms and much of the interior of the station are covered with mosaic tiling by the artist Eduardo Paolozzi, who also did the Large Head sculpture outside Euston Station.
