A restaurant halfway between Mortlake Station and [North Sheen Station]? with live music.

Music (on the wednesday night that we were there) was jazz piano with occcasional vocal numbers performed by the waitresses.

The menu is very good. We had meat fondue. Where you get beef, kangaroo and chicken to fondue in a broth. You also get chips and salad. The chips were actauly some of the best ive had in a while. The fondue costs 9.95 per person but there is deal if you pre book of 2 for the price of one.

The rest of the menu looked very good. Espcially the dish with kangaroo, ostrich and crocodile.

The desserts were all very good. The cheese board was very good too.

The wine list is interesting. Prices range from 16.00 to 65.00 [Nov 2004]. The merlot reserva was very good as was the cheaper rioja.

Service was included (at 12.5% I think) and the "Gratuity" space on the credit card receipt was annotated with "for piano and singing" - the music was quite and definately worth a tip.

They also have a bar near the door in a seperate room (seperated by archway) from the restaurant area, as well as an outside covered seating area with mushroomy heaters.
