Drinks

There were four real ales on, including Deuchars IPA as the guest (others were Bombardier, Pride, & a Youngs). 5.01 for a pint of Deuchars & a pint of Bombardier - both reasonably well kept. Assorted other usual drinks available, & it's a T J Bernard so they should have a decent selection of bottled beers.

Food

Standard T J Bernard menu, i.e. not desperately exciting. Didn't eat food so can't comment beyond that.

Service and Ambience

T J Bernard pub, so lots of pub tat from the standard pub-tat-vendors, clearly bought by the truckload. Lots of nooks and crannies, wood panelling, etc. It's not exactly vastly atmospheric, as it is clearly deliberately designed to look like a 'proper pub', but it's not bad. A perfectly decent place to have a drink in. Music, but reasonably quiet (on a Thursday night, anyway). The staff were a little offhand, but topped my pint up happily when I asked.

Layout

Huge, though not in a barn-like way. Large downstairs which the barman said was bookable.
