A nice Fuller's pub in the shadow of the Croydon Flyover. The Summer Ale was very refreshing and drinkable. It was 2.35 [Sept 2004] . The pub has a beer garden on the other side of a road. It was very leafy and nice even if it was under the flyover.

The signs outside claim it has the best kept beer in Croydon. This may be true. This obviously warrants more investigation ;)

Have now investigated further. The London Porter at 2.60 [Nov 2004] was fantastic. The Double G&T at 3.20 was reasonably priced. On a Friday night the pub was busy but not packed. We had no trouble getting a table. Also notably absent were the lager louts you see on the main stretch in Croydon.
