Royal Courts Of Justice

The name's pretty self-explanatory!

It's a beautiful Neo-Gothic building (completed in 1881), on the Strand. Something not widely known is that the public has the right to observe any court that's sitting in open court. You can also go on tours, or just gawp at the people protesting something outside (there's always a few) and the TV cameras.

Easy to get lost in: there are approximately a thousand rooms, connected by three miles of hallways. Yes, it's that big.
