A smallish Young's pub in Richmond, not far from the back entrance to Richmond Station. Magnificant array of condiments, including horseradish sauce in jars and chilli sauce. Reasonable food: 5 for a burger; 7 for rather tasty bangers and mash (with plenty of gravy); an all-day breakfast for 5.50. Order numbers are indicated by wooden spoons that have holes in them so you can look through them. Close to parking permit office for the area.

Quite crowded when we were there, get there early if you want a table for more than two. Tandoori opposite. They have a big screen and advertise upcoming matches, so avoid during major sporting events; thankfully the TVs were turned off during our visit. although quite quiet in in the pub during rugby matches, busy eiter side of them. Music was vintage funk - special. They seem to have occasional live music too. They also have a dumb waiter and a rushing wind machine - rawk!

Toilets decent, with proper taps. Disabled access to bar, but toilets are up a step. Gents toilets have highly polished copper pipework with green streaks that was approved of by your (mildy inebriated) reviewers. Ladies has only one cubicle and is manky.
