Interchange & Lines

Interchange between westbound Piccadilly trains (many of which terminate here rather than continue to [Uxbridge]?) and eastbound Met trains to Harrow is useful, and involves crossing the footbridge.

Heading from the Piccadilly line westwards, you may need to get off here to continue your journey, since many Piccadilly trains terminate here. You can wait on the same platform for frequent Met trains.

Heading into London, the Met is much more frequent and runs fast between Wembley Park and Finchley Road, making it usually faster for any journeys to stations from Green Park eastwards, even if you have to change trains.

If you aim to catch the Piccadilly towards London from any of the stations between Uxbridge and Eastcote, then catch the first train and change here - more Piccadilly trains run from here than Uxbridge. Wait on the same platform.

Where To Alight

  • Piccadilly & Metropolitan Eastbound - Third car of Picc trains, second of the larger Met trains.
  • Piccadilly & Metropolitan Westbound - Last car of Picc trains, fifth of Met trains.

Where To Get On

  • Piccadilly & Metropolitan Eastbound - Either the very very front (sheltered) or far down back (unsheltered).
  • Piccadilly & Metropolitan Westbound - Generally the unsheltered front.

Facilities

No train indicators unfortunately (in common with both Met & Picc stations on this branch). You could spend a while waiting for an eastbound Piccadilly line train - so there's a news/sweets kiosk on the eastbound platform.
