Fine Fish and Chips

Crispy batter, very fresh fish, excellent chips.

The starters were very good. The smoked trout would make a nice lunch on its own, or possibly with a small side salad: none of this wafer thin slice rubbish, you get a whole hot-smoked filleted fish.

There's a good variety of fried fish. Haddock comes in Medium, Large, and Jumbo: having ordered the medium size I cannot advise ordering the large or Jumbo sizes unless you haven't eaten in several days. It took some while to eat and now my trousers don't fit...

Apparently the desserts were good too (they do baklava. And other stuff. But baklava.) I could only face a herbal tea by this stage.

They do takeaway from the other side (020 8444 7004) but the eat in restaurant is very pleasant.
