Places To Live In North West London
If you want to work in the northwest corner of Central London (say at University College London), then living somewhere in north-west London is probably a good idea.
The most famous residential area in this direction is Camden, and if you can afford to live there is probably your best bet.
If you're looking for somewhere cheaper, places to consider are:
- Acton (a cheaper part of Ealing)
- Archway
- Finsbury Park
- Greenford (a cheaper part of Ealing)
- Highbury
- Kentish Town
- Kilburn
- Northolt (a cheaper part of Ealing)
- Stoke Newington
- Tufnell Park
- Willesden Green
Tufnell Park and Highbury are quieter and therefore probably more expensive than the others listed.
If you are a student, the University of London's Accommodation Office may be very helpful. In particular, they have a list of top 50 postcodes in order of popularity, with average rent prices.
