The Patio is a Polish restaurant on the corner of Shepherd's Bush Green, which has been running for at least 15 years.
The proprietess and staff are welcoming, and quite friendly and talkative if the restaurant is not busy. It is also somewhere that will serve you if you arrive after 11 O'clock.
The food is good value at �12.50 for the set menu. The food is Polish cuisine - pretty authentic according to some friends of Polish extraction I have eaten with there. You also get generous portions served with potatoes and 4 vegetable dishes by default.
They have Polish lager there (Zywiec), and also a range of flavoured vodkas.
There is a bookable downstairs section, which is not normally used.
