A spacious and moderately trendy Young's pub almost directly opposite Richmond Station. Ample seating in the main bar area, with a patio garden and a basement function room. The available ales are from Young's; Bitter, Special and a seasonal (Winter Warmer when we visited) on tap - all reasonably kept - and a wider range in bottles. The pub also serves the Young's lagers and the usual range of other beverages. Drinks prices weren't cheap - 2.40 for a pint of Bitter; 2.60 for Special. (Nov '04).

The pub serves food from a traditional menu - untasted by your reviewers, but prices were average - 7 for a plate of sos'n'mash, or 2 for a plate of chips. Two main courses were suitable for vegetarians - "Moroccan Bean and Coriander Casserole", and "Penne Pasta with Vegetables". All main courses were 7-9.

The music was uninteresting pap and just the right side of too loud.

Disabled access to the main bar, patio and toilets. Ladies' toilet has three cubicles and proper taps. So there.
