If you want to go to this restaurant, you must book. You might, just might, get away with not booking on a Monday or Tuesday, but that's only a possibility, so you really may as well just book. It doesn't have to be a long way in advance - I booked a table for two five hours in advance on a Friday, and it was fine. And they don't take cards (the nearest cash machine is less than 5 minutes' walk away, down the side of the Sainsbury's on Fulham Palace Road (here), but often out of order).

I could only find one other review on Google, and you should go and read that first. It's fairly accurate, though we didn't get offered any specials.

The menu is tiny, but in a good way. Starters are large meze (£9.95), small meze, or king prawns. The meze is good, and the large one is ample as a starter for two people. For mains there's two lamb dishes, three chicken dishes, one salmon dish and one vegetarian dish (non-vegan because of cream, but looks veganable), served with a choice of rice or couscous (we forgot to specify and got couscous), priced around £8-9. My salmon was lovely; not too large a portion, not overcooked, and surrounded by courgettes, peppers and chickpeas (which may have been part of the couscous). No dessert menu; you get brought baklava, and very good baklava is it too, not excessively sweet. We paid £60 for two people, but half of that was wine (two bottles).[Prices as of September 2004]

Do note that this place usually looks closed from the outside, even when it isn't, and the name is written very small. You'd almost think they were trying to hide, and indeed despite having lived within ten minutes walk of it for over three years, I only noticed it a couple of months ago.
