The Open Guide to London: the free London guide

The London Free Map is a project of the University of Openness to create a map of London that is free as in both beer and speech.

The plan at the moment is to start with Ikonos pictures and a lot of GPS traces and work towards real map data from there.

There is potential for wonderful synergy with the Open Guide. Are any Open Guide mandarins talking to the Free Cartographers?
