Locale Stoke Newington
Stoke Newington is an area in North London north of Islington. It is a bit of a desert as far as tube services are concerned, but there is a bus service which runs down to and along the Euston Road.

Stoke Newington is generally considered trendy; sort of a slightly cheaper version of Islington. Church Street where there are several second hand book shops is more trendy than the high street.
