The Enterprise Hotel is a tourist class hotel situated in the heart of Earl's Court.

Hotel

Check In Time is 2pm. Check out Time is 11am. The hotel has 95 rooms on five floors.

We didn't eat at the in-house "barn restaurant". Furthermore, we had breakfast at a small coffee shop down the corner which features a broad variety of fresh breakfast items.

Upon arrival, staff was very helpful in changing our standard quad arrangement into two seperate double rooms. They were not very helpful with organising a car, though. You can get a good car at the Avis point near Tesco on Warwich Road for a reasonable price. Prices of the "budget car rental" near the hotel does not include V.A.T and is considerably more expensive than Avis. There will be difficulties renting a car for one day on weekends (e.g. only for saturday), unless you take public transportation to the airport.

Lounge

There is a lounge with background music avaiable on the ground floor in the reception area. Daily newspapers, London phone books and yellow pages are available. The Lounge features a console allowing Internet Access at overprized rates (there a cheaper Internet shop down the street).

There are severall fish tanks in the Lounge, some of them are too small and not very well looked after. For example, two aquariums were missing algae-eating fishes, such as an ancistrus dolichopterus).

There is also a piano serving as a clipboard for a variety of trash.

Rooms

Rooms are small, but okay. Rooms are equipped with private water toilet, small shower, Telephone, TV and a Hairdryer. Coffee and tea is available in the rooms. Our water boiler was somewhat "worn-out". My girlfriend refused to drink from it, and she is certainly not picky. An elevator to the rooms is available, although it is rather oldish and slow.

Travellers from foreign countries may want to use the razor power supply in the bathroom that accepts most foreign power plugs without the hassle of using an adaptor, e.g. for charging their cell phone.

After showering, the water from the shower took approx. 10 minutes to disappear. This is a drawback for the second person to shower. It worked better in the other room, though. Room service did a good job, especially in unpacking a fresh soap every day. We ended up with four freshly unpacked soaps.

Sometimes, you can hear your French neighbours returning late at night through the thin doors to the corridor. Beds are comfy, though.
