The Open Guide to London: the free London guide

Ealing Studios have been making films since 1933. They are most famous for the Ealing Comedies in the 1940s and 1950s, but were also responsible for producing many government propaganda films for the second world war.

They were part of the BBC from 1955 until 1995, when they were sold off to the National Film and Television School.
