Crystal Palace gets its name from a structure created for the Great Exhibit, that was held in Hyde Park. After the exhibition the structure was moved to the area framed by Sydenham, Penge and Dulwich (approximately). The streets of Crystal Palace are home to some fairly good restaurants, unfortunatly Joannas is not the place it once was.
