Decent Fuller's pub in Croydon. The London Pride was very drinkable at about �2.50 [Nov 2004].
The Steak, Mushroom and Ale pie at �6.25 was very good. The chips were excellant and the veg was good too. It even came with mashed swede.
The staff were friendly.
